Hi Sharon,

I'm sorry to bother you again. I am fairly certain that
my X5 grandfather was (Pierre) Joseph Tillou/Tilyou of
Clinton Corners. I believe my line descends from his marriage to Mary Carlisle. My X4 grandfather Peter Tilyou was born 1771 in Dutchess County...and was perhaps their son. My X3 grandfather Carlisle was Peter's son...born in Dutchess County in 1814. If you could tell me where you found the information on (Pierre) Joseph or where I might find it--I would really appreciate it. There are SO MANY Pierre-Peter Tillou/Tilyous out there! Back in the late 1950's my grandmother's (Flora A. Tilyou) house burned to the ground, and with it went most of our family records. I would appreciate anything more you can tell me.
Thank you!
