My Great Grandfather Edward was born in 1878 in Hornell. I was having trouble finding Census records for that period so, when I saw Patrick & Margaret's same named son I got excited and automatically made an association. I didn't come to this realization until I made contact with the Moynihan (Margaret's granddaughter's) family in Jamestown and realized my mistake. Come to find out my Edward's father, Michael, was born in 1849 in the farming town of Birdsall in Allegany county.
