Axel's father, August Leo, died in America according to the "vitness attest" (witness certificate; perhaps letters in this case) of several people. He had received a work certificate to America 20 April 1880. His death date was listed as 3 September 1882.

His death record is here.

It was a bit confusing because a note about his dying in America was on the line above his, with a line connecting his line to that comment. There is, of course, a question mark for the burial date. He was listed as a former soldier in Rohlebäck, so he had not been registered "out" from Österplana parish. He was 36 years, 10 months, and 17 days old, and was listed as married. No specific location or cause of death was listed.

He probably is this person on the Emihamn database because the parish record said he got a work certificate to go to America on 20 April 1880.

He is not listed on Emibas, probably since he only left to work and not to emigrate.

Judy
