Patrick & Margaret O'Brien, Jamestown, NY 1888-192?

I am researching my Great, Great Grandparents Mr & Mrs Patrick & Margaret O'Brien, who were residents of Jamestown beginning sometime by 1888 until their deaths in the 1920's.

According to the 1900 US Census Patrick was born in 1855 (in Ireland, exact location unknown) and Margaret was born in 1857 in NJ. The State of New Jersey lists their marriage record 18 Nov 1875 Jersey City, Hudson, New Jersey. The marriage record however also lists Patrick as having been born in 1845, and his wife as Mary Ryan.

Patrick & Margaret had 9 children (Catherine, Mary, James, Ella, Edward, Annie, Margaret, Agnes, William) that were raised in Jamestown and Patrick had his own Tailor shop for many years.

I recently located a 1928 city directory listing Margaret as having been widowed, but have been unable to narrow down this information as the city directory is only available up to 1915 on

In addition to not knowing the details of their death records I do not know which cemetery they're buried in.

I submitted a research request to the Fenton History Center, but that was mainly to discover the location of their son Edward's (my Great Grandfather) place of birth in Pennsylvania and his mother's maiden name.

Can anyone tell me more about Patrick & Margaret?
