http://www.familysearch.org has Daniel Carpenter (born 1814, Bradford, Chautauqua County, New York-died 1871). http://www.nationalatlas.gov lists no place named Bradford in Chautauqua County, although there is a Hamlet of Bradford Junction in adjacent Cattaraugus County and a Hamlet of Bradford in Steuben County.

Daniel Carpenter's (1814-1871) pedigree follows:

Ezra <Robert <Christopher <Oliver <Abiah <William (born 23 May 1605, Amesbury, Wiltshire, England-married 28 April 1625, Howell, England-died 7 September 1685, Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts).

Daniel Carpenter's nine siblings, all born in Bradford but one, are:

Ezra, Jr., 1804
Carlton, 1807
Annie, 1809
Almeda, 1812
Welcome, 1816
Sophronia, 1817
Stephen C., 1824
Solomon, 1827

Daniel's sibling, Phylinder Carpenter, was born 10 April 1802 in Brookfield, Madison County, New York.
