if u go to the familysearch.org site and go to pilot program and play around with that, u will find the source of the parents on the garbinsky / zanoviak marriage record. which does not mean that it was transcribed correctly. sometimes the handwriting is horrible, or the recrd, faded or blurred. married 11 may, 1911.
also at that site, the 1905 census, the image of which there is a problem with, indicates that film 143529 image 779 has

family 9 zanoviak
michael 40 born russia
mary born russia age 37
michael zanoviak born new york age 1
julia age 4 born united states
peter 6 united states
annie 10 born united states
stephen 14 u.s.
louis 15 u.s.
mary 16 u.s.

these are the children listed in antonias 1911 guardianship request. so they were in auburn in 1905. the enumerator may have just put united states or whoever answered the door just said u.s.born. u can rent the film and study it yourself, or perhaps the problem at familysearch will be resolved.
