Ebenezer Gere (b 1764 in Groton CT) moved to Auburn, Cayuga Co. from Ulster Co. with about 8-9 children sometime between 1813 and 1828. He was enumerated in Auburn in the 1830 census. The Geer Genealogy says that he died in 1835, but does not give sources. Most of the children stayed on in Cayuga Co. for decades thereafter, so it is reasonble to assume he died in Cayuga Co., probably Auburn. I am seeking any evidence of where and when he died and where he is buried. Ditto for his wife Lucy Chapman Gere (b 1766 in Groton); unfortunately I don't have a death date for her. Many thanks.
