www.fultonhistory.com wolcott, clyde, lyons papers - Thomas Jefferson Chaddock died at his home on Church St. Rose, Wednesday, J&n. 16, aeed 72 years. He belonged to one of the pioneer families, having been born and lived on a farm in South Huron until four years ago when he sold his farm and moved to Rose. He was the senior deacon of the Baptist church, one of the Sunday School teachers and had filled other important offices. He was a veteran of the Civil War, was a memoc of Company C. 9th Heavy Infantry with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He is survived by his wife and an adopted son, Alfred C. Chaddock, of Auburn. The funeral was, held Saturday afternooo at the bouse. The services were conducted by the pastor of the Baptist church Rev. A. S. Wright, assisted by Rev, M, S. Babcock pastor of the Free Methodist Church, and Rev. H. E. Springer pastor of the Methodist Church.
