JACOB BUSKIRK, b. abt 1803 in NY
wife: Elizabeth "Betsy" Bush Buskirk, b. abt. 1807
children: James, Peter, Mary Lavina/Lovina, Emeline, Martha, and Elsie Fannie

MARY LAVINA (or LOVINA) BUSKIRK RHODES, b. May 1834
parents: Jacob and Betsy Buskirk
md. ALBERT HARRISON RHODES, 1830-1902
children: Jessie, Lorrey, Sarah, Martha, Hattie, Harlan, John Milton, and Blanche.

Family folklore says that Lavina was from the Cattaraugus County Seneca tribe.

Looking for any definitive information on Native American ancestry or any ancestors/descendants generally. Willing to share research. Thanks!
