couple of one liners at www.newspaperarchive.com olean times: 1899 james went to university buffalo medical school and in 1903 passed his exams at same. 1914 dr h decided not to move to california and moved to river st.(great valley or olean).in 1925-1930 they lived in salamanca and visited mrs happells sister, mrs janette irwin.his office was at 99 main st.and he closed them for 3 weeks in 1925 for repairs.sister laura married a bauer and had a daughter frances and was at his surprise 70th bday given bysecond wife pearl engelhaupt,of bradford pa., .his neice is mrs christine lind of buffalo.his first wife was delia rachel miller,and they had a son robert,a sailor, daughter margaret who married clayton graves brown, son of josephine of rochester. e mail me aurina at frontiernet dot net for delia obit..they attended great valley baptist church-check there for records.first mrs happell had sister mrs g l bishop of olean. mrs arthur happell had a daughter abt april 12, 1924 and lived at 633 garden avenue, olean.1939 miss ann happell, r.n. visited her uncle, dr happell.she is from cleveland, ohio or ny, -pork chops were 25 cents a pound.
