DARLING FAMILY

Daniel/David DARLING b. abt. 1825; m. Rachel A. (last name unknown)bef. 1850. Daniel and Rachel appear in the 1850 US Census for Otto, listed as residing next door to his parents Ebenezer and Irena (Birchard) Darling.

In the 1870 US Census for Ellicottville, Daniel and Rachel along with sons Charles, age 14 and Harry H. age 4. Daniel is listed as a "merchant". In 1880 only Harry is residing at home and the family is living in Great Valley. In this census Daniel is listed as "David".

Was Irena living with Daniel and Rachel when she died in 1880?

Both Daniel,Rachel and son, Harry A. are still living in Ellicottvillle as recorded in the 1900 US Census. Where is this family buried? Did Harry ever marry and have children?

Son Charles m. Chloe G. Razey. In the 1880 US Census they are residing in Ellicottville along with Chloe's sister Anna and brother, Alonzo. Believe Charles and Chloe had one daughter and one son. Where and when did Charles die? Where is he buried?

Thank you for whatever info you might be able to provide.

What became of son Charles?
