Use the link below to view an image of Plum McKoon, his wife Dell, and daughter Vernie. Letters written to Plum in 1864 by Millard Fillmore Horth, Co. D, 179th NY Infantry, refer to him as "brother". Can anyone identify Plum McKoon and describe his relationship to Horth? The photographer's mark on the McKoon image was from Otto, New York, in Cattaraugus County. Thanks!
