Jane BRENNAN Allen was b: abt 1842-46? NY. Jane married C.B. ALLEN who was listed in the 1870 Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY census as a lumberman. Also listed were two of their children: Rose and Jennie, both born in NY. Subsequent research found only Jane, in the 1880 Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY census listed with her mother Mary, two daughters Rose and Jennie and two more children: Carrie and Henry. No mention of Jane's husband "C.B."; however, I was able to track-down their daughter Rose. I found Rose living in Smethport, McKean County, PA, where she died at 69 on 7 Nov 1938. Jane and "C.B."'s daughter Carrie marries an IRONS. Also located a Jane ALLEN buried in the Rosehill Cemetery, Smethport, McKean, PA, with the dates: 1846-1902. I believe this ALLEN/BRENNAN family migrated from Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY to Smethport, McKean, PA. Does anyone know about this ALLEN/BRENNAN/IRONS family?
