I believe you are already hitting very close to the 100% correct, A research helper has found Persis application for veteran's comp. for George's service 1861 to 1865 in civil War. Primary record, The Home place we are not sure, as the family owned homes in Binghampton, and Hallstead, and we have no primary proof records, only census records, As for Libbie, and Merton Mason, also known by our family, she was indeed Elizabeth Viola, and we only have the census records for her and Merton. I have Portraits of Harley, Persis, also all of Persis Siblings, Would be glad to share these if you write a personal email. I also have a copy of a document, owned only by a member of our family, concerning George's Father, Henry Green, dated,1821, Henry Green being promoted to 3.rd Corporal by a Capitan,Barber Kinyon, in the New York 22.Nd Rifle Brigade, At this point searching for the primary records to prove the censuses out, that you have has been elusive for us
would surely appreciate all the help we can get
P S The "M" or "W" is still hard to read on these hand written documents, could easily have been mis-transcribed by many
