I would sure appreciate any help or suggestions of where to go to verify the birth parents of Benjamin L. Gibbs who was born March 11, 1808 in Binghamton, New York. He married Ardelia Knight in Binghamton May 31, 1841. Benjamin also had a brother John D. Gibbs who was born 1804 either in Stillwater (Saratoga Co) or somewhere in Otsego County. John was married to Eunice Cook in Binghamton, NY, date unknown. Both brothers along with a third James H. migrated to Wisconsin in 1836. Their other siblings included William and Sarah. Nowhere have I been able to find the names of the parents of these children. A researcher at the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center believes the mother to have possibly been a Catherine Gibbs born 1788 NY and died 1881 in Sheboygan, WI
