I see from your previous postings on this board that the marriage certificate # that you now have was acquired from the free Italian American website. The Italian and German websites share the same database. I guess it is always possible that an entry could have been transcribed incorrectly (but I've never found any to be). They are working on including the Bride Index for Manhattan, when that is finished you could cross reference with the Bride Index to see if the date and cert # are the same with the Groom Index.
