Hi Steve:
Yes, I already have all that information on Dorcas and the census reports. I also have found a Lamberton Cooper living in Birdsall, NY in 1840 and he seems to probably be a brother of Walter.
I have asked a local Burns historian to check any records that still exist and look for any and all Cooper information. And, I'm waiting for some documents from a researcher who followed Margaret Cooper info from about 1850.
There are other Cooper families in Livingston and nearby, but I have ruled those out as direct ancestors. I'm sure the Burns-Birdsall group is mine, but I haven't yet figured out the exact family configuration.
There could likely be other Cooper family members in the Canaseraga cemetery, but the graves no longer have markers. This is often the case and one needs to find burial records or obituaries to confirm.
