Carol, Walter was my ggggrandfather born in MA abt. 1781 married a Sarah ? born NY abt. 1784. The 1850 federal census list their children as Lurance b. 1808, Dorcus b. 1819, Samuel b. 1827, and Sarah b. 1829 residing in Burns. The 1855 NY census has them listed in Burns with Samuel married to a Lenora living with Walter and Sarah. Samuel and Lenora (Scott) are my gggrandparents. I have Samuel being born in Prattsburg, Steuben County, NY. Samuel and Lenora and Lurance (Sam's sister) removed to MI>KS. I sure hope our families connect. Steve
