As a hobby, I rescue old photos that have identification on them.
Recently I was lucky enough to obtain two photos, of a husband and wife. One is identified as "Dr. John NORTON" and the other one "Carolyn NORTON, wife of Dr. John".
The one photo indicates the photographer was from both Alfred Center and Friendship, NY. A google search indicates both of these towns are in Allegany Co. NY.
