Looking for ancestors of Jeremiah Foster Sanford b. 1805 NY who married Rebecca Simmerson b. 1811 NY or NJ. They had 8 children and moved to Wyandot Co., OH by 1840. Oldest son is Walter b. 1832 in Alleghany Co., NY. I am trying to find out who Jeremiah's parents were. I am certain of the connection of this family to Alleghany Co., NY. I feel as tho these Sanfords are somehow connected to Thomas Sanford the Immigrant or his brothers who also immigrated.
