john williams was a son of william williams, b 1777 in sharon ct. this is the robert williams of roxbury ma line.
several family members moved to green co wi and freeport il in the 1840's. see ms. by frances schuetze, wi historical lib 1961; pdf also posted at us genweb site for centerville, allegany co ny.
