Thanks for the input but I beive the "Sinthy" being referred to was more likely Cynthia (Burdick) White. However there was a daughter named cynthia but she married Jonathan Greene in 1816 and would not have been named White in 1820. The dates of 1820 and 1831 more closely define the time period when Oliver and Cynthia) White lived in Alfred.
