Richard D. ROBERTS of Wales and Freedom, Cattaraugas Co.

I'm tracing back the family of Richard D. ROBERTS 1819-1896, buried in the Baptist cemetery in Freedom with his wife Margaret WILLIAMS, next to his parents-in-law William Evans WILLIAMS and Margaret LEWIS. All were born in Wales. The WILLIAMS came to Freedom from Aberdaron district Caernarvon, via Trenton, Oneida Co. NY, where they spent about a dozen years. I do not know if Richard ROBERTS spent time in Oneida County. I consider it likely that he married in Freedom/Centerville, though that is deduction, not fact. They had an infant son buried in the County Line Cemetery in Centerville 1854 and were probably active in the church there in their earlier days.
Richard and Margaret had children Mary Ann 1849, John Henry 1851, William Milton 1856?, Samuel 1857?, Lewis H. 1860?, Nellie J.1861(Daniel MORGAN), Wallace 1864, Margaret Ellen 1865(Wm.MORGAN) and Emma. They may have started in Centerville but certainly resided in Freedom and Sandusky. My main pursuit is the ancestry of Richard: place of birth, parents' names, where married, specific dates of birth, death, marriage and emigration. Any and all information, direct or collateral, and all questions, are welcomed and encouraged.
