I am looking for anyone who might know anything about Troop 17 or its leader, Mabel Tallmadge. My mother, Sally Manning, was a scout in the Troop. I have a scrapbook that covers the Troop's activities from 1937 to 1939 when my mother was an assistant leader. The Troop met at the Madison Avenue Reformed Church until it burned down. They then met at St. Paul's Episcopal church on Lancaster St. There are names of many girls who were members during this period mentioned in the scrapbook.
