The 1850 census recorded two young children Ambrose PEACOCK born 1842 and Charles PEACOCK born 1847
Ambrose Peacock was apparently born in the United States to immigrant parents from England as recorded in census records available at this time. We cannot view the 1850 census record where it is stated that he lived in Albany and was age 8. Ambrose was listed first in this household, with him was Charles age 3, George Hurbert age 27 a clerk, Barnard McIntire age 40 a laborer, Jane McIntyre age 48 and James McIntyre age 18 a mason The census with this record was M432-471 page 150.
Can anyone tell be if there were probate records available that can establish the parents of these young children.
