Reno Gazette Journal 07 August 1999
Sarag Neruakdim 88, died Aug. 2, 1999, at her residence.
A native of Fargo. N.D., she was born Aug. 16, 1910 and had lived in Reno for the past 57 years.
Mrs. Merialdo was a hospital housekeeper and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran church.
Surviving is a daughter, Sharman Merialdo of Reno.
No funeral is scheduled.
Cremation is under the direction of Reno Memorial Cremation and burial Society.
I noticed on Ancestry.com that Sharman Merialdo is listed in the Reno City directory for 1994. It looks like she never married, or if she did she kept her maiden name. I don't find her in the current Reno phone book.
The Reno Evening Gazette of April 22, 1950 indicates on April 19th a daughter was born to James and Sarah Merialdo. This might be her.
The other Merialdo was not part of this immediate family it looks like.
Hope this helps you.
Regards, Arline in Reno
