I checked the city directories at the Nevada Historical Society today and came up with nothing on the family.
Assuming they spoke Italian I checked to see if there was an Italian newspaper published but it was not until 1907.
I am assuming that Victor and his brother were both born at home. Probably no birth certificate was issued from a home birth. I run into that a lot in early Nevada.
Victor did have a social security number and in order to get that he had to produce some form of documents to show when he was born. Maybe it was a baptismal certificate. Sometimes a supplimental certificate was issued many years after a person was born with testimony from family members and maybe an entry into a family bible.
The Reno papers did not list him under births. Sorry I could not give you more information or help.
