KILLED -- A noted desperado, named Jack WILLIAMS was shot dead, while sitting in a saloon at Virginia City, on the 10th instant. The murderers fired through the door and made their escape.

DESPARADO KILLED -- Jack WILLIAMS, a noted desperado, was killed in a saloon at Virginia City on the night of the 9th instant, by some person unknown, who pointed a pistol through the windows of the saloon and fired. The party who fired has not been found, notwithstanding the officers are on the alert. WILLIAMS has killed several men both in California and Nevada Territory and at the time of his death he was under indictment for robbery; and was only at large on bail.
