I have a one page article that talks about Bertha Eaton Raffetto's visiting Nevada and became ill. Then later she came to Nevada for a divorce and later married her attorney Fiore Raffetto. If you are interested in a copy let me know.
Do you have a copy of "Home Means Nevada" that she wrote? If you'd like a copy, let me know.
My maternal grandfather is a Raffetto he was raised in the Placerville,CA area. I believe that one of his brother might have been the RAFFETTO who was a part owner of the Carey House. I'd heard that one of the Raffetto's owned a hotel in Placerville.
