I am not related but here is some information:
Go to: www.nevadaculture.org that is a free website. Click on the Nevada census date bases. You have many ways of searching. I just keyed in Leopold Steiner and he is in the 1880, 1900 and 1910 census. When you click on his name don't forget to click on the top of the page, Browse adjacent records, that will show you who was in the family. It is not an actual copy of the census just great information.
Also through Ancestry.com I have found a number of listings for him and the family. His obit is in the Reno Evening Gazette 1914 June 22 page 6. He died yesterday morning and lists names of survivors.
I also found Alice Steiner Binckley died 10/11 in the Reno Evening Gazette 12/13 page 6. She died in Los Angeles at her brothers house. [was a daughter]
I am a docent at the Nevada Historical Society in Reno and I will check to see if we have any photos of the family and get back to you.
