I am trying to find ancesty and possible connection between a family Aronson from Augustow, Poland (earlier Russia). I know about 2 brothers Filipp and Abraham who came to sweden in the beginning of last century.
They also lived in London for a while where Abrahams wife (Ida Proshoffsky) gave birth to a daugher, Dora in 1909.
This Dora emmigrated to USA in July 1928 where she was to stay with her uncle (Isaac Shavinsky) whom I later traced to Toledo, Ohio. He was married to one Millie Shavinsky who died in Nevada in the 1970's.
Do anyone know the ancestors of Filipp and Abraham and do anyon know of the connection between Dora Aronsson and Isaac Shavinsky. B.t.w, Dora just vanished in the USA and nobody knows what happened to her. Apparently she was a Librerian.
I hope somebody can help me tracking these people.
