Thank you very much Constance Peck. Please help us find our lost
Civil War Vet Jose Antonio Olivas. who was Born in Santa Barbara, CA. and served in CO-C, First Battl'n Native Calif. Cavalry. According to the Elko VR his death Cert shows his age at Deah of 106. We know that can't be correct. If we could look up his Marriage record it might tell us his age as of the date of Marriage. Or if we could find his wife's Obituary we may find her buried next to him.
According to the NV Marriages, 1860-1987
we find a
Name: Josei Antonio Olivas
Gender: Male
Spouse: Concepcion Lavios
Spouse Gender: Female
Marriage Date: Dec 4, 1901
Marriage Location: Elko, Elko CO., Nevada

located in Elko Co., NV in Volume 3 on Page 49
