Charles Ferrell and wife left for Salem, Oregon, last evening to attend the funeral of Frank Ferrell, who was killed in a prison outbreak while in the discharge of his duties as a guard.

Ferrell's Death Will No Be Avenged
Oregon convict who helped slay brother of Washoe County's sheriff guilty of murder in first degree.
Salem, Oregon., April 10
Harry Wright and Charles Monte were indicted to-day by the state grand jury for murder in the first degree for killing Frank Ferrell, one of the three prison guards who were killed by convicts Tracy and Terrill in the outreak of June, 1903.
Wright and Monte smuggled guns into the penitenitary. Wright is serving three years at Walla Walla for grand larceny; Monte is serving six years in the Oregon state prion for burglary.
