Hi,
I'm researching for my wife to help her locate the identity of her mother. My wifes grandmother has told her that the mother of the child was around 15 years old and had to give the baby up due to not being able to afford to take care of the baby or the bills. Apparently the mother lived with her grandparents. The baby was adopted to Edith and Vern Hefner and named Shirley Ann Hefner born June 16, 1948.
Unfortunately Shirley was killed Dec. 23 1972 in an auto accident. However her daughter( my wife ) wishes to know more about the family on her mothers side especially due to some recent heart problems she's recently having.
