I am looking for any infromatiom on where I may find some information on the famous Comstock Mine or nevada, and any possible listings of employees for the company, at the time. My paternal Grandmother's materanl grandfather was a foreman for ther comstock silver mine. My family and I are able to find out more about himmand his family, by looking for some information on hsi employment with tthe company. particulalry since the Comstock mine discovery was such a major historical part of developing the west.Fo4r this reason I figure there must be some where I can start to search. I just don't know where. So, if anyone has any input or ideas, plesase contact me.
