Hi Dawn, That time in Las Vegas there was realy only the down town section the town was quite small. I lived in Las Vegas for 20yrs. moved 4yrs ago East St. would not have been in East LV. that is out by Sunrise Mt. there is a cemetary on Owens and LV Blvd that is old. I do not know of any other. You might try City Hall and see if you can get some information. The City has grown so much. The reason people were sent to the desert hot and dry was a hope the TB would be cured by that climate it was much worse in a cold damp or wet climate
