I have been searching and searching for information on him. I did find the following....finally. I have also learned that his middle name is Harold and this is what many of the family called him. He was retired from the Navy and apparently went to Vet school afterwards (guessing they're meaning animal dr. not going to school on VA funds, don't think they were available back then).
This gives his last known address as Boulder City, NV which I believe is also in Clark County. I will check with the library there and see if they have information on his obit from past newspapers. The Boulder City newspaper is not found on the web. Just my luck! There are several funeral homes there, if the library doesn't work out, I'll try them.
I would appreciate a pic of the cemetery marker, but please don't make a special trip out there...just sometime when your in that area. I know the rest of the clan I'm researching with would appreciate it also. Thank you for offering.
