Well if they were married in Sumner County you can contact the county clerk and see if they will look it up for you. Usually they will request a few dollars for a copy, and sometimes just for the search. But most clerks are very helpful. Depending on what information is on the certificate you will find her maiden name and possibly her parents. You could also order a copy of her death cerificate from the state. It usually has a lot of information.

It would be the best place to start.
