Samuel Lewis Nutter passed away 29 March 1948,in Fayette County, WV; this according to WV Vital Statistics held by the Cultural Center. A digital image of the certificate lists a "Clifty" Cemetery. This is near Fayetteville, WV, where he passed in an area called Clifty-Hico, WV. Certificate of Death: http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_view.aspx?Id=1139446&Type=Death

There is no information on file for your Grandmother. S.L. Nutter's certificate lists him as a widower at time of death.

Hope this helps.
