Can you help me with the Nutter family, I believe my gg-grandmother Nancy Ann Jenkins born December 21,1855 is the daughter of Christopher Nutter and Martha Ann Jenkins (Martha's nicknames were Patty & Frances). Christopher Nutter and Martha Jenkins are listed as the parents of my Nancy Ann Jenkins' brother William Robert Jenkins on his death certificate which I've pasted to this email. After the births of Nancy Ann (Dec. 21, 18550 and William Robert (Feb.1859) something must have happened to Christopher Nutter because he dissapears and Martha and the children show up in his neighbor James Stanley's household in the 1860 census of Ritchie County, West Virginia .Martha later married James Stanley in 1879 and had other children, but her first two children retained her maiden name of Jenkins. Can anyone help with this, I want to prove that my gg-grandmother's father is in fact Christopher Nutter. Thank You, Dolly Thorn
