This George I think is my GGG Grandfather but not sure now as this means he had 2 sons called George the other being born in 1865,I have traced George (the elder) back to 1851 when he first appeared in sheffield using the census' but have not yet got any certificates for George. on the IGI I found that a George was christned on 2nd April 1834 to parents James and Elizabeth.Their is also some information on the rootsweb site about this family.They do seem to be the same people though.
