I hope you are still interested in responses to your 2001 message re Nutleys.I have just noticed it.

My great great grandfather William Chester of the Newington (nr Hythe) area married a Mary Nutley in 1821 and had several children.

I would be interested to hear more about your Nutley family tree and where Mary fits on it.
