Nutes of Dover, NH

One of my g-g-grandmothers was Julia A. Nute, b. abt 1850 (Milton, NH?) who married Frank B. Clough. According to the 1870 New Hampshire Census, after the wedding they lived next door to her father George F. Nute, b. about 1828 and the rest of his family. George apparently was a shoe manufacturer and Frank Clough was one of his employees.

George's wife was Irene (age 38) and they had two other children; George W. (age 18) and Ida (age 12). Also living with them was Eunci (age 73) Nute (?). All were listed as having been born in New Hampshire.

Does anyone have anymore information with regard to this branch of the Nute or Clough families?
