Hi,

Jacob and Sebastian Nussear arrived in Philadelphia in 1773 from the Brig Morning Star. They were originally from Lorraine, France and were French Hugeoneuts(Protestant).France's religion at the time was Catholic. I would have to look up historical information at the time about the religions implications to get more extensive.
The name was originally LeSeuer back in France.

My cousin Steve has done extensive research on this and I have found the passenger list for the Brig Morning Star online and Jacob Nusser is listed. When I get more time, I will post what information I have.

Helen
