My Grandfather, Walter Werner Nussbaum immigrated to the USA around 1900 with his father and mother Gottlieb & Marie from Wattenweil. They lived in the state of Illnois for awhile & settled in Idaho where I reside today. Apparently they were related to the Silers and had relatives living in North Africa who ran a hotel. One of his brothers John Jacob was in the Swiss Army & was serioulsy wounded by a rifle. His other brothers and sisters were Marie, Rosie, Ida, Olga and George. Gottlieb was a Cobbler & worked as Railroader in the US. The borthers also became railroaders and farmed on the side. I would like to find out more about my Swiss Family living today and in the past. Please contact me if you have any leads or other information. Thank You
