Hello -
I am looking for information regarding my Great-Grandfather's family.
Thomas Oldmeadow Nurse was born in Blofield in 1872, and went to Australia, and then to Washington State in the USA.
His father, Thomas Gamble Nurse worked in the constabulary in Norwich after serving in India for many years, he was born in 1828. Thomas Gamble married in India and had 6 children but the entire family died due to an influenza epidemic. He later married Elizabeth Alderson
Richard Oldmeadow Nurse (born 1797)and Sarah Gamble were Thomas Gamble Nurse's parents.
Thomas and Sarah Nurse were Richard Oldmeadow's parents. I want to learn more about all of these people. Thomas Nurse (this last one) was a ship owner and was captured by the French during the Franco-Anglo War and imprisoned for a few years.
