A Nunez family in Trinidad & Tobago 1900 -1930

Three children, Vicente, Obdulia and Lucas Evangelista, were born to Lino Nunez and Simona Arzola in Guiria, Venezuela. My father, Lucas Evangelista Nunez, the youngest of the children was born on 18th October, 1907. I am unsure of the birth dates of Obdulia and Vicente. The three children were sent to Trinidad, maybe around 1917, accompanied by Lino's sister, Cornelia Nunez, to live with a relative, one Faustino Blondel, in the village of Brazil, San Rafael, in Trinidad. By 1930 or thereabouts, Vicente, Obdulia, Lucas and their Aunt Cornelia, has settled in the village of Ecclesville, Rio Claro in Trinidad. By this time both Vicente and Lucas were small shop-keepers and Obdulia, having married one George Cardenas, started a family.

Simona Arzola had other children in Guiria who I happen to know: Jose and Consolation. Jose migrated to Trinidad and lived in Hutton Road, St. Anns, Trinidad. Consolation remained in Guiria but I remember her visiting Trinidad in 1937.

I should be grateful if anyone has information that can amplify or otherwise edit this record.
