There were THREE distinct Nunemaker families in early York county, PA:
1. Solomon Nunemaker of Shrewsbury township
2. Jacob Adam Nunemaker of West Manheim township
3. Abraham Nunemaker of York borough.
None of them lists a son John in their will. Perhaps your John was a grandson of one of them. Do you have a date of birth or a township of origin?
