A baptismal record in Christ Lutheran Church, Shrewsbury, York County, PA, shows Maria Sybilla (spelling as in church record) to be the daughter of Jacob and Lydia Nunemaker.
Comparing church records with census records, it is evident that this is the Jacob, age 50, and Lydia, age 37, who lived in Shrewsbury Township in 1850.That places Jacob's birth as 1799 or 1800.
