Ijust found a Philip Nugent's name on a petition of 1844.The petition is referred to as the Burin Petition by David Davis in "THE NEWFOUNDLAND ANCESTOR". Philip's name appears on page ten of the document. I am researching all the Nugent's of NFLD and have not previously seen this name. If anyone has any info on Philip I would greatly appreciate hearing from them. My ancestors come from Kelligrews and I am wondering if Philip is part of this family.
